Andrew

So proud of Andrew

One afternoon last December Andrew presented himself at Cornerstone, he had suffered a relationship break up, lost
his job, was homeless for weeks and at breaking point.

Andrew was offered a bed in our Safe Haven night shelter and after 3 weeks with the support and help of Cornerstone he moved on to a shared house. He continued to use Cornerstone and was a great help doing various jobs for the staff around the centre. After some months Andrew felt able again to face life and started to seek employment.

We are now delighted to say with help and support from Cornerstone and Andrew's own determination he is now in full time employment and life is again looking good for him. Well done Andrew, we wish good luck in your new job and we are all extremely proud of you.

Cornerstone is a day centre providing services to adults facing a wide range of social issues including homelessness, poverty, social isolation, poor mental health, drug and alcohol addiction. We operate an open door policy and welcome people from all backgrounds with our aim being to offer support to our clients, improve their prospects and enhance their quality of life.
